Virtue-Based Parenting Course

Janet Quinlan Podcast

Are you tired of punishing your children?

Most parents focus all their attention on punishing their children for misbehavior. They’re always looking for ‘just the right consequence’ that will finally teach their child to:

  • Stop talking back
  • Listen the first time
  • Live a tone of respect and order in the home.

But punishments rarely change behavior. Learning new habits (virtues) is what changes behavior.

In my parenting course, “Virtue-Based Parenting” I teach you how to teach your children the FIVE essential virtues: Honesty, Obedience, Self-Discipline, Order, Respect.

When your children live these five essential virtues, the hard part of parenting is over.

We’ve taken a few parenting courses over the years but we appreciated having everything relate back to the virtues. I
find it really helps me and my kids when I can name the virtue they are working on.

Overall, I appreciate very practical advice and found helpful the situations you brought up as examples.
I also really appreciated the workbook; both the notes as well as the questions. I’m glad to have something I can refer back to as needed!

Janet’s approach is ingenious and I would highly recommend the course to any parent who is looking for a faith- based approach to raising well adjusted children.

From the little issues to the big ones, Janet cuts through the noise and gives you easily implementable ideas and plans of action.

She is by far the best parenting coach we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
